Founded in March 2009, the Société pour les arts en milieux de santé (SAMS) provides patients isolated from our arts community the experience of enjoying performance arts in their own health care setting. These patients, their families and health care professionals alike have been stimulated by these live performances.

During its 2009-2010 season, SAMS will present artistic events in some 46 long-term health care facilities under the authority of l'Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de Montréal, and it is an important objective of SAMS to develop its activities and bring events to people across the Province in future years.
